Your freshly baked copy of QGIS is downloading. QGIS is free of charge, and will always be free of charge if downloaded from QGIS.org. If you can afford to support the project and people making this software, please consider making a small donation to support our efforts. Whether you choose to donate or not, we hope that you enjoy using our labour of love and encourage you to share and spread your downloaded copy far and wide so that others may enjoy it too. Our very best regards!
The OSGeo4W installer is recommended for regular users or organization deployments. It allows to have several QGIS versions in one place, and to keep each component up-to-date individually without having to download the whole package. Since QGIS 3.20 we only ship 64-bit Windows executables.
The QGIS Server Socket unit defines and creates a file system socket, used by NGINX to start and communicate with QGIS Server. The Socket unit has to be configured with Accept=false, meaning that thecalls to the accept() system call are delegated to the process created bythe Service unit.It is located in /etc/systemd/system/qgis-server@.socket, which is actuallya template:
The standalone installer is one big file to download (approximately 280 MB); it contains a QGIS release, the Geographic Resources Analysis Support System (GRASS) GIS, as well as the System for Automated Geoscientific Analyses (SAGA) GIS in one package.
The OSGeo4W installer is a small, flexible installation tool that makes it possible to download and install QGIS and many more OSGeo tools with all their dependencies. The main advantage of this installer over the standalone installer is that it makes updating QGIS and its dependencies very easy. You can always have access to both the current release and the developer versions if you choose to, but, of course, you are never forced to update. That is why I recommend that you use OSGeo4W.
You can download the 32-bit and 64-bit OSGeo4W installers from (or directly from -setup-x86.exe for the 32-bit version or -setup-x86_64.exe if you have a 64-bit version of Windows). Download the version that matches your operating system and keep it! In the future, whenever you want to change or update your system, just run it again.
To install the QGIS LR version, we can simply select the Express Desktop Install option, and the next dialog will list the available desktop applications, such as QGIS, uDig, and GRASS GIS. We can simply select QGIS, click on Next, and confirm the necessary dependencies by clicking on Next again. Then the download and installation will start automatically. When the installation is complete, there will be desktop shortcuts and start menu entries for OSGeo4W and QGIS.
This installation path offers many options, such as Download Without Installing and Install from Local Directory, which can be used to download all the necessary packages on one machine and later install them on machines without Internet access. We just select Install from Internet, as shown in Figure 1.2.
With the new CRS selected, we can set the name and parameters of the CRS. The CRS properties are set using the PROJ.4 format. To modify an existing CRS, click on Copy existing CRS and select the CRS from which you wish to copy parameters; otherwise, enter the parameters manually. Some background on PROJ.4 is provided below. PROJ.4 is another OSGeo ( ) project used by QGIS, and it is similar to OGR and GDAL. This project is for managing coordinate systems and projections. For a detailed user manual for the PROJ.4 format used to specify the CRS parameters in QGIS, download it from -284.pdf.
Start with the creation of a folder near to C:\\ (e.g. C:\\webserver). After that, download the Apache 64 bits and their modules. At the time of this documentation, we use the VC16 compiled version.
Now you will configure a FTP to have a remote access and deploy in a easy way into the server the qgis projects and their project elements.First you need to download server FTP. Then install the default configuration in the server.

In some cases, ads may be show to the users.
This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.
Installing from Shared File If you are offline, you will need to install QGIS from a shared file. The QGIS Installer can be downloaded and shared via USB. This file can be shared with colleagues and others who wish to install the program. To install from a shared file:
Installing from QGIS Website If you have an internet connection, you can download directly from the QGIS website. Additionally, it is highly recommended to download software directly from the QGIS website whenever possible. This ensures that you have the most up-to-date version of the program. The QGIS file is larger than 300MB and may take a long time to download, depending on your internet connection.
Considerations for working with large groups and/or in low-internet settings Plug-in Manager requires a consistent internet connection to download plugins. It is highly recommended for training and workshop facilitators to pre-download offline versions for sharing. For instructions on how to download an offline version of a plug-in for sharing, see section 1.8.1 Software and Tools to Share.
Note: When downloading data through QuickOSM, it is best to have a basemap layer focused on your area of interest (see QuickMapServices) and/or at least one shapefile/geojson layer in the area of interest. This guides QuickOSM in downloading data for the correct area of interest.
To download data in QuickOSM in QGIS, you will need to build queries to download the exact data that you need. QuickOSM makes building queries easier, but you will still need to know the tags (i.e. keys and values) to generate data. It will become easier to remember these tags as you gain experience working with OSM - in JOSM, QGIS, and other programs.
Value: Multiple values can be strung together by separating with a comma (for example: amenity=school, hospital). To download all possible values of a key (i.e. amenity=*), leave the value field blank.
Note: To large of an area, or too much data to download, can overload the API or will be too much for a slow internet connection. If you are having difficulty downloading data, try reducing the area or limit the data download by changing your tags. For example, downloading all buildings in Africa, even some cities, is too large for QuickOSM. Instead try downloading a smaller area or restricting to all building=school.
